Timeline depends on complexity and our current workload. Simple pieces (benches, small tables) typically take 4-6 weeks. Complex builds (kitchens, built-ins) may take 3-6 months. We provide a detailed schedule during your initial consultation.
We work with domestic hardwoods (walnut, cherry, oak, maple) and sustainably harvested exotic species. Each has different durability, grain, and color. We'll recommend the best option for your project based on use, budget, and aesthetic preference.
Yes. For projects over $5,000, we offer a flexible payment schedule: 50% deposit upon agreement, 25% at lumber order, 25% upon completion. We're happy to discuss arrangements that work for your budget.
A one-hour consultation includes: space assessment, style discussion, material and finish exploration, preliminary sketches, and a cost estimate. Follow-up consultations are $75/hour. If you proceed with a project, the consultation fee is applied to the total cost.
Absolutely. Our introductory classes teach fundamentals: hand tools, safety, basic joinery, and finishing. We group students by skill level, and instructors provide one-on-one guidance. No prior experience needed—just enthusiasm for making.
